The carbide teeth are welded to the backing material at a 6*-7* positive rake, they also have a unique triple chip ground tooth formation at which there are 3 teeth per inch. This formation provides smoother, concentric cuts, as well aslonger life expectancy. Cuts materials that standard bi-metal hole saws will not.
